I'm the Assistant Director of the University Library at Purdue University Northwest and an Assistant Professor of Practice. My interest is to tell the story of the Calumet Region, encourage activist public history, the preservation of institutional knowledge, and information literacy. I'm a lifelong resident of Northwest Indiana and active in the Society of Indiana Archivists, the Midwest Archives Conference and Academic Libraries of Indiana.

I received my MSLS from Clarion University of Pennsylvania, a BGS from Indiana University Northwest and currently pursuing my Ed.D in Leadership and Innovation Design at Purdue University Global.

I live in Valparaiso, Indiana with my wife and I have two daughters in college.
